Today room fourteen performed in front of the whole school because Mr Blakey wanted us to try something new because we were learning about dinosaurs. We did a dinosaur performance it was called there's one in the bush in front of the whole school for the second time. I was nervous my leg was shaking because some of the boys were not doing what we were supposed to do. We practiced in a week in a half almost the whole class remembered all the dance moves. The song was funny. My favourite part was when we had to say woo.

Diplodocus

The diplodocus lived millions of years ago.The diplodocus was an amazing animal.A diplodocus was born with a very long long neck so a diplodocus can reach the leaves from up up the tree.Also a diplodocus has and big incredible tail so he can balance his body so he or she did not fall over on his body.A diplodocus also has a big huge tummy.A diplodocus has teeth like a human.A diplodocus has small eyes.

Little red riding hood and three little pigs

Once upon time there were three little pigs.They all lived in one empty house with no food. They saw the house.They sold it for $100. Then they saw a bakery. The biggest pig went to buy a big mud pie,and the biggest pig was about to eat it . When the two little ones saw mud pie him they all had a fight over the mud pie. Little red riding hood said stop fighting and they still fighting but they were crying because she said you have to learn how to share.

Being a scientist

Scientists work hard to solve interesting problem that most of us will never understand. Scientist are very smart and create inventions. if you want to be a scientists and if you get the job, tell me what you learned about. 

Why I was late for school

It was a normal day I got out of bed and had my breakfast and had a shower then got my ready and put my lunch into my bag and went to school. 

On the way to school the road broke in half and was swallowing cars then it saw me then start to chase me! I went around the tree through the gate and into the park after that there was a giant rat came out of nowhere chasing me! I went around the tree through the gate, around the shop. And then they all disappeared and that's why I was late four school today.

I love the rain because I like feeling rain drops falling on my tongue.

I also love the rain because the rain makes muddy puddles that we can play in.

Rainy Monday

On monday morning it was a very stormy day with lots of rain coming from the sky,falling on our heads and  making our whole body chilly. I just wish that I could be in Hawaii drinking a coconut and relax on a chair watching all the birds fly by.

Feeding the gulls

Holding our piece of bread,we crept on to the field to feed the gulls. As soon as we got on to the field we layd down and began to wate for the sea gulls. Then the whole class began to throw our old bead then a few sea gulls came swoop Down for our bead.

The ratcatchers

A ratcatchers job is to catch as many as rats as they can in one day.

A ratcatchers works in a lot of places. rats live in a sewer which they climb down into.The ratcatchers kill rats because they spread a disease and if you get bitten by a rat you will be very sic.

there are two different ways the ratcatchers use to kill the rats. they can shoot guns just in case if any rats come by. There's  another way you can kill rats which is taking a little dog because if you take a big dog he won't  fit.

How to jump

I need to jump on two legs

if I jump on one foot only I will fall on my face.

I need to jump on a motorbike

or you can just jump like a frog.

when I jump I need to bend my legs.

Dear Awkward Guys,

Yesterday, I saw you having serious problems running down the road in your brand new running gear.  It looked like you were really in need of some help, so I decided to write to you to give you two tips.

When you are running you have to look straight so you don't bump into things.

When you are so tired you don't have to stop running you can just jog.

When you are running you have to have bend your arms a little bit so you can go fast. If we bend our arms we make more power.

When is our field going to dried?

Last night it was raining that's why pt England field is full of muddy puddles and skid marks everywhere.

Cool island week

In the cool island we can climb the coconut tree and make a drink and then if you run out you can go back to get some more and then save the rest for tomorrow

Matariki

Matariki is the name of a group of stars that appear in the night sky. It marks the beginning of Maori new year which a time for people to celebrate. It is a special time of the year when the seven stars appear then go at the end of June.

There are lots of different ways to celebrate matariki. Some people do fireworks and some go out to places.

Our trees

rees supply oxygen to help us breathe.They provide  homes for wildlife  and shelter for everything.  Trees help make our world more beautiful and we are lucky to have amazing trees at pt england.

From faraway, at night the big scary trees at pt England grow bigger to the clouds.

From close up, the trees look huge and from faraway it looks similar.

Morning walk

The morning we went for a walk. we were walking an the grass which was wet and frosty . The grass looked white and frozen.   

When we were walking we saw spider webs glistening in the morning sun and there were droplets of water on the gate.

When I went for a walk with my class i heard noises around me of birds and horses. They were all different noises. It was a nice walk.

Snails

Snails look slimy so they are not good to  touch they have a shell which is hard and  Protects it.    

• They live in the shade because they are quite we can easily find snails on tree and rocks where they eat green grass

The whole school uses our playground it's on the bottom of the field and it's near the kindergarten the playground is also by the horses.

The playground is long and wide . It's made of wood metal and plastic

Kazoo makers

On Monday in Mr.Blakey's class we made kazoos. We used scissors, Sellotape, colourful paper, two little rubber bands and a big one. First we cut the colourful paper out. Then we got the Popsicle sticks and we wrapped them around the sticks with the Sellotape. Next we pulled out one of the Popsicle sticks carefully. After that we stretched the big rubberband around the stick which was a little bit tricky. Then we put on the other Popsicle stick and wrapped two rubberbands around it. Finally we got to blow it. It sounded weird but it was amazing.
